The wandering life of a ronin is often a lonely one, and Usagi has been on that path a long time. A temporary peace, staying with the merchant Endo and his daughter Hanaka, is interrupted by the deadly League of Assassins, setting Usagi back on the road, but with the uncomfortable sensation that he is being followed.
• Collects issues #94-#102. This volume also includes the landmark Usagi Yojimbo #100, a celebratory roast issue featuring contributions from several of the best writers and artists in comics including Frank Miller, Matt Wagner, Jeff Smith, Sergio Aragonés, and more!
• The limited edition hardcover contains a special plate featuring an original painting by Stan Sakai and is signed and numbered by him.

I think Brian K. Vaughn is a good choice for the intro writer for this volume. I haven't read much more of his work than Pride of Baghdad, but I liked that quite a bit. I think he also has something to do with the tv series Lost, which I also enjoy.
Is there any chance of getting Mike Mignola or Guillermo Del Toro to do a UY intro? I don't know if GDT has ever read UY or not, but I think that an intro from him would be pretty cool. Of course, I think he's down in New Zealand right now working on The Hobbit, so it might be a little difficult to get a UY intro from him right now.

I don't know if I'll get copies of the HC in time for San Diego, as the con takes place the week before the release date. However, it should be easier to get copies of Book 23 HC as DH has increased the print run on those. As you may remember, Book 22 was severely underprinted.Mayhem wrote:
And I'm sure a few of us will be looking to personally collect our copies again from Stan at SDCC if he receives his allocation before the show

Is that why my local comic shop never got the copy I ordered in? Weird that I was able to finally buy it at Barnes & Noble and not through my local shop. But I did get it!Stan Sakai wrote:
