Great, Steve; that reminds me of posting my HCs pages as well....
ehm, "your lost duckling"??
Did you mislay it? Lend it away to a person now unknown??
I hope it will return any time soon...

Well, if we assume an average of two minutes per drawing, it would have taken somewhere close to 50 (!) hours of drawing, continuosly and uninterrupted by such minor priorities such as sleeping, drinking, eating, or even going to the toilet...Steve Hubbell wrote: ...I wonder just how long did it take to draw 1500 of those little tip-in plates for this volume?

I'd estimate Sensei would have had to spend a whole week if he'd done it all in one go....

One more reason for the comparably small number of HCs now being produced.

The newest addition, a "library bound" copy of Usagi Yojimbo: Samurai (Book 2) which made the trip to California and WonderCon and back, a trip which I could not afford to make in person. Anyways, this is one of the two Paw Prints editions which I recently bought, identical to the new Fantagraphics trade paperback, except it has a slightly larger hard bound cover sporting the exact same artwork as the tpb (no dust jacket or tip-in plate).

I just received a care package from Shawn (the lucky girl) who not only picked up some stuff for me at WonderCon, but also at Emerald City Comicon (you sure have to be pretty lucky to be able to go to two great conventions within such a short period of time).
Thanks to Fanfan's video of Stan's booth at WonderCon, I was able to spot this cool piece of artwork which Stan said was still available when I inquired about it.

And, of course, Shawn was invaluable in picking it up and mailing it to me.
And I sent Shawn another of the two Paw Prints Library bound hardcovers which I had bought a while back. I know I posted a scan of this book in another thread, but here it is again, along with the great new artwork which Stan added at Emerald City.....
