Important question about UY Book 22: Tomoe's Story

Post by shaxper »

As some of you know, I'm putting together reviews of each of the UY volumes for Amazon.com (you can see it all here). The problem is that I can't figure out what's in Tomoe's Story (vol. 22).

I own the original comics and, up until now, I've been able to figure out which ones are in each volume, but vol. 21 ended with UY #89, and vol. 23 begins with #94. That means Tomoe's Story either contains only four issues (which seems impossible), or it includes several UY stories that didn't come from the comics.

Can someone please enlighten me before I attempt to write this review?

It also contains the first three colour special stories (now in b/w), as the continuity of them lies at that moment.

Thanks so much for this info! I would have expected them to have been printed earlier, especially since Stan's drawing style has changed so much since the first color special.

I refer you back to this thread regarding some insight into why the redraw happened and why it took so long for these stories to be included...
