Something I would like to point out about Zato-Ino
He must have retained at least SOME of the sensory portion of his nose when Usagi mutilated it, because even now it is impossible to create a working prosthetic nose.
Just saying. No offense intended to Stan.

Hmm... how to best express myself in signature form?
Well, I'm back. I need to get back into the series, been so long since I read volume 7.

I think that this Wikipedia page will explain everything:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspension_of_disbelief
If that doesn't work for you, just pretend a wizard did it (Maybe it was Segonara from Nilson Groundthumper & Hermy).

I never said it wasn't okay with me.Fanfan wrote:so animals that talk, yokai, obakemono, wizards, soul that go from one body to another, are okay with you, but not a wooden nose... it is quite funny
I guess there was something magic about the wood his nose was made of.

He must have retained at least SOME of the sensory portion..
Dear Readers,
"He must have retained at least SOME of the sensory portion of his nose when Usagi mutilated it"
Doesn't he say the world has a pine scent?
This means a portion of the olfactory nerves were still connected and working.
Best wishes to all,
go

Hmm... I guess I am. ^^'Stan Sakai wrote:You're over-thinking this way too much. I just thought it was funny to give him a wooden nose.
To be honest, I didn't wonder how he was able to smell with a wooden nose until I asked someone if it was possible to make a working prosthetic nose. ^^'

I am concerned that Gen's horn means he isn't horny enough. Wouldn't the loss of Gen's horn make him less horny?
I have read that some horns have nerve endings that extend up through the middle which would mean some serious pain. An exposed nerve ending would be even worse.
Gen: Exposed and Less Horny. A Usagi Spinoff.

Did you have to be so blunt while you were pointing this out?
