Nice announcement! I think this is an awesome move. They've had their Robotech : Shadow Chronicles movie on Hulu for some time. They must have miraculously noticed... "hey, our sales are up for some reason... " Very good marketing.
I have Robotech on DVD (twice) already. I have a Robotech shelf full of Robotech toys, books, games, comics, etc. Its right beside my Usagi shelf actually.
I keep missing my chance at getting the Macross DVD set, I enjoyed Robotech, but I want the original Macross series. I have the original Japanese versions of season 2 and 3 of Robotech, Southern Cross and Mosopedia. But I need Macross to complete my collection.
