Nice pictures; it seems it has been a successful and fun day for all concerned.
@ Maka: Aren't these your kids (the two in The Hundreds blog)? I hope they found it worth their time waiting for Sensei to sign their books... And didn't I see my t-shirts in those bags?
Thank you for being so kind !

Here's the direct links:
Samurai Armor: http://shop.thehundreds.com/p-680-armor-tee.aspx
Straw Cape: http://shop.thehundreds.com/p-679-rain-cape-tee.aspx
You can select the color you'd like as well. It seems Large and X-large are sold out for the samurai design in both colors. Large in the white straw cape, and X-large in the black straw cape are sold out too.

Yes, those were/are my daughters. I love those pictures because they do capture some of the excitement they had that day.Thomas Froehling wrote:@ Maka: Aren't these your kids (the two in The Hundreds blog)? I only bought 8 t-shirts for four different Usagi Yojimbo Dojo members who posted on this thread or contacted me directly saying they were interested in a shirt or two. The bill still came up to almost $300. That's the most I've ever spent on clothes, not to mention t-shirts.

My students were talking about the difference between short term happiness and long term happiness yesterday. The main difference is short term happiness (food, material goods, drugs, etc.) isn't sustainable like long term happiness.
That made me think of this Usagi Yojimbo Dojo. Short term happiness is buying a new UY book, which is good and worthwhile. Long term happiness is being a part of this Dojo community, contributing and reading post, and having opportunities to show gratitude or help other collect something they want. I get a lot of happiness interacting with you all here. Thanks for contributing to my happiness.

Peace, maka
