The second theHundreds T-shirt contest begins...NOW!

Post by Stan Sakai »

This contest is for a Hundreds T-shirt in Large or XX-Large--your choice. It will be my final decision as to which of the two designs and shirt color to send the winner.

Again, it is simple. Be the 12th Dojo member to PM me with the subject heading "I want a T-shirt", and you win. The body of the PM is unimportant, but keep it short. Each member has only one try at this. If you are #12, I will reply to you and ask for your T-shirt size and mailing address.

The contest is open to all Dojo members worldwide. We started much later the first time. Right now it is the start of the work day in the US and mid-afternoon in Europe, so every one has a level gaming field, so to speak. It's already tomorrow for those in Japan, but you can still play.

This is the second one of these in as many weeks, so you've all honed your timing. You can refer to the earlier contest for strategy. Good luck all!

I hope, sensei went back to bed, after starting the contest...

Thanks for the exciting contest!^^

:)

I hope that means that you are assuming there were already 12 others who sent and that you didn't send 12 as all members get ONE message to send as Stan stated in his message.

I am frankly surprised. The last contest took 4 hours. I was sure this one would take much, much longer, maybe even 6 hours. It only lasted about 30 minutes longer than the first one.

Anyway, the winner is Glumby, and I just notified him of his winning.

If you are curious, I received the entries in this order:

1-joerqwesti
2-TigerRider
3-SHAMSKI
4-go
5-Robert Kassebaum
6-coolray85
7-Shadowfax
8-MIGHTYDUKE
9-Steve Hubbell
10-tru2qzus
11-laylabetty
12-Glumby

Thank you all for participating!

Actually the first contest took almost 6 hours. It started around 11am my time and went to almost 5pm my time. I know cause I was on the board for 8 hours straight.

A very interesting experience for me! after that 1 hour I really thought, I shoudn't wait any longer... those contests really do have their own dynamics, don't they?

Thanks for the thrill, sensei! :)

Congratulations Glumby!
