The list of Eisner Award nominations came out today, and I'm on the list in the Best Single Issue category for UY 123: The Death of Lord Hikiji.
The awards will be given out at a ceremony on the Saturday of the San Diego Convention.
Here is a complete list of the nominees via Heidi's site:

I don't know how many nominations I have gotten over the years, but I did receive three awards.

I fully agree that "The Death of Lord Hikiji" was among the best of your stories yet. It's always gratifying to see your work being acknowledged and celebrated, Stan. Congratulations on the nomination!

Thank you for your best wishes, everyone, but I realize I'm the (pun intended) dark horse in this competition. The sentimental favorite has got to be Gene Colan. I kinda hope he wins, and would be surprised if he did not.

Congrats!
Definitely deserved. Usagi is the one book that everyone can agree on.
