Hey, Dark Horse has just put up the pre-orders for their 1 for $1 promotion. The comics are Usagi Yojimbo, The Goon, Hellboy, Conan, Aliens vs. Predator, and Sin City and will be released in August.

The comics are Usagi Yojimbo, The Goon, Hellboy, Conan, Aliens vs. Predator, and Sin City and will be released in August.
Apparently there will be twelve 1 for $1s in all, leaving room for five more (please, oh please Concrete #1 with a new cover!)

Are all of them being re-released with new cover art, or is Usagi Yojimbo an exception rather than the norm for the project? Is anyone familar with any of the other books shown which and are sporting new cover art?

I was looking at the Goon #1 image and it looked like the cover image featured the original releases cover art with just a little bit of alteration in the layout or presentation, similar to the changes in the older and newer Fantagraphics Usagi tpb covers.

I'm only familar with The Goon and Hellboy and both of them have their original covers.
