TMNT Usagi appearance
My tv guide lists Usagi's episode of the TMNT cartoon, "Big Brawl", as being on next Saturday, May 15 (coincidentally, my birthday). So check your local listings, folks!

Usagi was spotted in the preview clip for next week's episode!
Check your Fox Box listings, some areas have the cartoon on Saturday morning, some on Sunday morning.
The Big Brawl is a multi-part episode, 4 episodes are supposed to air with the last being the season finale. So it's going to end on a cliff-hanger, and pick up again next season. It's going to be along the lines of a Mortal Kombat from what we can tell, with beings brought from various dimensions to compete.
If you want the synopsis, you can find them on the Mirage site, under the TV section for the new cartoon.
I'm crossing my fingers this will be good!

Could anyone please record the shows and then share them via eMule or Bittorrent? The TMNT show is not likely to get broadcasted here (at least for a long time...).
BTW, this weekend was the 22nd Saló Internacional del Còmic de Barcelona, and one of the guests was Kevin Eastman. I didn't get to see him and I don't really know why he was invited (I think it had something to do with his other works, like Heavy Metal), but I thought I'd point it out
. Some TMNT merchandise was there for you to buy, though.
On a side note, this year's Salò was the biggest ever (8200 m²), but on Saturday morning there were so many people there it made it almost impossible to get even close to most stands. It's better to go on Thursdays and Fridays.

Usagi did appear on the Big Brawl (part 1) episode of TMNT this morning!
He didn't say much, and he didn't have his scar over his eye, but it made sense in the context of it having been a flash back to some years past, when Splinter encountered Usagi during an "out of bounds" combat with a large nasty dragon character. Therefore, it was clearly a young Usagi, and probably--hopefully, next week we will get to see the adult Usagi (and Gen!!)
I don't have the ability to help anyone out in other countries about the episodes, I don't have cable or dish, I only get one station and it doesn't have the show. I go to a friend's to watch it on VHS. But speaking as a...uhm...shinobi <grin>, and knowing some TMNT fans in other countries, I have heard rumors there are some websites out there, though...
Perhaps, if you tried some of the message boards, like NTML or the Technodrome.
ahem. Think it time to fade away into the night, here.
Best wishes that you get to see it!

I couldn't find any websites with ed2k links or torrents; however, searching around the eDonkey network I found some episodes shared. As soon as I get home, I'll try to find it and download it
. Thank you anyway, Leonardo-san

What is right?
Dear Readers,
Does this mean the people who download the "free" TMNT cartoons will all also buy the official release dvd when available? Otherwise Sensei Sakai does not get paid for the work these downloading people took.
Is this Bushido?
Best wishes to all!

I'm not a lawyer, thus, I don't know if what I'm doing is legal or not. However, I do believe that if an author does something that I like, then I should compensate him/her. TMNT was aired on TV (I don't know if it was public or cable) and I know that unless a distributor (does that word exist?) buys TMNT, decides to translate it, and then a TV station buys the rights to broadcast it, then it's not likely that I'll ever watch it. That's why I download TV shows (mostly anime) from the internet. When a TV show airs, the company gets money with commercials, and I don't have any problems with that. When the DVD comes out, it usually has extras that could not be seen on TV, and if they're worth it, I also buy it. If the TMNT shows is ever aired on TV here, and then the DVD is released here too, then I'll buy it. I cannot buy the US DVD because I cannot play it here (USA is zone 1, and Europe is zone 2).
P.S.: well, I could actually play it with a zone 0 DVD player or PC software, but since I don't have any of them and there aren't many zone 1 DVDs that I could not get on zone 2, I don't think it's worth spending the money. DVD zones suck :'(

I buy all the new cartoon DVDs as they come out, so they are getting their royalties off of me. (Along with any other merchandise I buy.) I don't download songs or shows, so that's why I don't know a lot about it. But I do know there is a deep interest from fans in other countries to see these things, and it's painful to know they don't have a chance of participating in discussions the rest of us can have about the episodes--or sometimes even the comics. Once, I even purchased comics for someone from Hungary, and mailed them to him.
All of TMNT season 1 is currently available on DVD, but as I understand it, only for "region 1" ? Meaning USA and Canada, that sort of thing. I don't know if it's been released on DVD in other regions yet.
Because the Big Brawl is the end of Season 2, it may be next winter or even next spring before it's available on DVD.
There has also been a re-release on DVD of some of the old cartoon episodes, but I am not the person to ask for details on that, because I don't plan on getting that DVD.
