That's great (potential) news!Stan Sakai wrote:I think I will be in Baltimore at the end of August. Sergio and I seem to alternate years. He was there this year, so I'm up for 2011.shaxper wrote:Hoping you'll do Motor City, Pittsburgh, or Baltimore so that we can visit you again this year!
We've never done Baltimore, but we keep hearing great things, so we think we'll venture out this year if you'll be there

He's been listed as a guest on the Baltimore Comic Con website for a while.

Congrats on your exhibition Mr. Sakai! I liked UY #1 so much that I just bought issues 128-133 and I will buy every new release from now on.
My comic "Midnight Detectives" is now free at www.FunCurve.com

I am not sure of the exact dates, but the exhibit runs from early July to end of October.Fanfan wrote:Hi Stan,
How long will last the exhibition ?
any plans for France ? 2012 perhaps ?
I really am trying to cut down on my traveling. However, you know how much I enjoy going to France. I had to decline an offer to go to St Malo in 2010, perhaps they will invite me for 2011.

The best way to get a creator to come to your local con convention is to petition the promoters to invite them as guests. It usually goes that way rather than a creator asking to come to a convention.
And do it as far in advance as possible when the con's budget and the creator's schedule will be the most accomodating.
For example, Stan is coming to the Boston Con this spring because we invited him last April, over a year in advance, knowing how busy his schedule gets.

hmmm, well if you come to France i'll have to change my planning since i should go to west canada at this time. Sure you will be a guest if you want to come at St Malo, and as i told you in Berlin, if needed, i now have a car to drive you if you want to enjoy Normandie while you are here.

Don't change your plans on my account. I am not sure if Paquet will invite me to St Malo again.Fanfan wrote:Stan Sakai wrote: I am not sure of the exact dates, but the exhibit runs from early July to end of October.
