Hello Stan.

Hope you've been having a good time in San Diego. I did not attend, but my friend Mark from Comics Unlimited was there earlier this week, and he was able to get me a copy of Sketchbook 8. I thank him and I thank you for signing it!

I've been a UY fan for a long time but am only now getting into the swing of things. If you still have enough copies of book 1, I would like to get copies of Sketchbooks 1 through 7, as well as the Spanish Sketchbook.

A check will go out ASAP.

Thank you!

This is probably a stupid question, but are all the sketchbooks autographed?

Yes, there's an Usagi head and signature on the inside cover.

I returned from Comic-con to a post office box stuffed with orders. I will start processing them tomorrow, but it will take a little while to send out all the orders.

Please don't forget to include postage, and PLEASE don't send me blank checks.

San Diego was great. The highlight of the con (besides the food at parties) was when director John Landis brought over Adam Savage of Myth Busters. He bought some books, and I took a picture with him.

The first wave of sketchbooks were sent out. If you sent an order last week, it is probably on its way. Expect them in 2-4 days, except for foreign orders.

UY Sketchbook #1 is officially sold out. I could fill what orders I had gotten, but cannot accommodate any new orders. Numbers 2 and 3 are also in short supply, but I have enough to fill any Dojo orders and probably take to conventions this year.

Ouch! No more #1? I could cry... ...looks like I got involved a little too late. But, such is life... Since I was just about to drop off my check in the mail, I shall write a new one for issue #2 thru #7, plus a Spanish Edition.

Oh man, I think this was me! I started writing a check to you, and kept it in my wallet until I could get to a computer to check your pricing in the forum to tally up a total. I must have forgotten to finish filling out the check when I mailed it. Oof! Really sorry about that, and thanks for not cleaning me out!
The books are all great, Stan. Thanks so much.

Yes, that was you. Thank you for paying for my son's college tuition.

Dear Stan,

greetings from Germany! Unfortunately I left for holidays two weeks ago, so I missed your call regarding the new sketchbook... I hope there is still a chance for me to get a copy. I am also interested in the new volume 25 hc. And for a friend of mine a copy of sktechtbook 7 and the spanish one. A few days ago you wrote that the foreign orders are still on hold, so maybe I still could join the european mail.

regards
Hans

Steve's post elsewhere reminds me... don't suppose you have any of these brought back from SDCC Stan? :)

I just have a couple. Those were a surprise to me, as DH did not tell me of those signing cards beforehand. They printed just 200 of those cards. I did two signings at their booth, and they went out really fast. At the second signing they had to give away comic books, or I would have nothing to sign.

I sent my order for the Sketchbook. You should get it by the end of the week or beginning of the next.

Bud Plant Books and Stuart Ng are also carrying Sketchbook 8, so you might want to order from them, especially international orders.
