I know many of you already have these sketchbooks and although I've been reading Usagi for the better part of 2011 I only recently discovered this site and just ordered the available sketchooks. These are simply beautiful pieces and although there is some sketching inside most of the work looks like finished art to me. There's some stories also. I found out that #3 is almost sold out so I'm lucky I got one of those. I would strongly encourage Usagi fans to get them. As for #1 that is sold out I've read on this Board that it goes for over $100 on ebay. I'm going to wait until after the holidays and maybe #1 will be less expensive. We shall see. I think we should have a section on this Forum where we can discuss the various sketchbooks because they really give an insider's look into the creative process which I only first saw firsthand at the Usagi Exhibit in LA a couple months back.

Each book is $10 plus postage. However, if you order more than one book you get some kind of discount on the postage, I can't remember how it works it's kind of complicated but the bottom line these sketchbooks are more than worth the money. They are phenomenal. Someone on this site should be able to explain the postage discount. Also, for any Spanish-speaking fans there's a sketchbook made specifically for a convention in Madrid that has both English and Spanish sections. I don't know how much that one is but I would definitely inquire.
