Version 2 is a shade darker than version 1, and because that scene is meant to take place in heavy rain, I'd settle for version 2...
Just my thoughts...

Looking forward to all your new projects, Stan. Has a publisher been announced for the 47 Ronin?

As much as we all love Usagi, I'm sure you'll enjoy this little break from him. I picked up your Samurai Hulk story the other day (didn't know it existed until Steve Hubbell messaged me about it), and it was excellent.
Your human characters still feel like they're straight from Usagi's world, aesthetically, and I love that. Your adaptation is going to floor us all, I'm sure. No pressure!
