My new project

Post by Stan Sakai »

As I wrote in another thread, I will be taking a short hiatus from Usagi to work on an, as yet, unannounced project.

It is not about Usagi. in fact, no funny animals at all.

I can't tell you what it is, but I will be drawing humans--at least 47 of them.

Well, whatever it is, I'm so gonna read it. Your stories and art are always amazing.

47? :)

If only it was 48 we would have the meaning of life, the universe and everything.

Look forward to it!

How detailed or indepth with the story be? Will it be like a 2 hour movie version or more like a 52 week taiga drama?

I watched the first four episodes of the 1971 taiga drama which featured Toshiro Mifune as Oishi Kuranosuke, quite a differant role to what he played in Hiroshi Inagaki's 1962 movie version.

It will be more like a movie, but not the one with Keanu Reeves.

Sounds like one of my favorite stories is in the midst of a new rendition. Can't wait. Dojo members get first crack at 'em, right? :)
