As good as everyone else was (especially Michael Dooney), I always liked the original Eastman/Laird layout and inking for the turtles. This could be a little expensive trying to get all the covers heh. Still, publishers usually stop the madness after the first few issues...

yeah, variants were only announced for issues 1 and 2 so far, at least that's what I read in an interview with kevin...(variants by other artists that is, kevin will be contributing from time to time I guess..) so don't worry;)...
I feel the same way about the inking and drawing on turtles...

oh, I don't know guys. IDW is notorious for doing variants. They loves them! We don't even bother marking most of them up anymore (1/10 and above). People with pull files get a special surprise sometimes hehe. :D

Ohh, hehe Ray, I was referring to giving out the special covers for cover price. If people are signed up for something they'll get the special cover in their files instead of the regular covers. Sometimes they're different artwork, or sketch covers. People love getting a surprise.

They actually publish some pretty good books. For the higher cover price you get your moneys worth. I think the Turtles are in great hands!

So has anyone read the new title yet? How is it?

I was only able to read sporadic issues of TMNT back in the 80s. So what was the difference between TMNT and Tales of TMNT?
