Hi all,
I've been away from Usagi for a while but was hoping to get back into it!
I've read Grass Cutter and Seasons and was wondering what would be a good Book to pick up next?
Seen as I am not overly familiar with the Usagi world/universe I was looking at picking up a stand alone book...and hopefully something with a good page count!!
Any recommendations much appreciated!
Much thanks
Pete
Recommend a Usagi book for me please?

The first book I ever read in the Usagi Yojimbo universe was Book 2. It is an extremely early novel in the Usagi timeline, but I think it might be a good match for what you're looking for because it serves sort of as an "Issue #0," introducing Usagi and how he became a ronin. Here it is on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Usagi-Yojimbo-B ... 0930193881
Many of the more current volumes make mention of the Grasscutter saga. Since you've already read part 1, part 2 might be a natural progression (although keep in mind that there were several years worth of stories in between these two): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Usagi-Yojimbo-V ... 1569716609

Welcome back
Would probably be good to let us know which books you have. Out of the most recent ones, The Mother of Mountains is a self contained story arc, and gives us an excellent villain, and builds on the pairing of Usagi and Tomoe.

With a breeze comes a storm, but then you'll all be washed away...
Re: Recommend a Usagi book for me please?
I would recommend "Book #18: Travels With Jotaro" and "Book #19: Fathers & Sons", both of which feature stories that involve Usagi with Jotaro, who happens to be his son. In the second book I've mentioned, there's even a story involving Lord Noriyuki that has a surprising twist to what happens; and also, there were a couple of nice moments that involve Usagi talking to Tomoe about Jotaro (especially with Tomoe becoming surprised to find out about Usagi having a son).

Will there be hardcovers, deluxe edition containing the firts couples of tpbs from Dark Horse? Kinda like what Fantagraphics did?

the mentioned books here all make sense...a wonderful thing about usagi yojimbo is that you can actually start ANYWHERE you please and don't feel left out, because the stories always make sure to give you every piece of information that is needed to enjoy and understand the told tale...
