New UYD T-shirt

Post by Todd Shogun »

This year in celebration of Usagi Yojimbo's 20th Anniversary, we will be offering a new UYD t-shirt design!! The shirts will be offered in either white or grey and feature really cool designs by Stan. Check out http://usagiyojimbo.com/forum/viewtopic ... 37&start=0 at the UY DojoBoard and scroll down to the 4th post.

In the past, we never had the opportunity to distribute the shirts via mail order. However, I have been speaking with a store that is interested in carrying them. The cost per shirt will be around $12. Right now I am trying to determine which sizes we should print up. Please send an email to uydtshirt@usagiyojimbo.com with the quantity, color (white or grey), and size of shirt that you would be willing to purchase. Tentative size ranges are S-XXXL. If you wear a S, or XXL-XXXL size, I strongly recommend you send an email to uydtshirt@usagiyojimbo.com to voice your size, as the store is currently looking at carrying M-XL only.

Once we have an idea, we'll get to work on the shirts and let you all know when and how you may purchase them. Note that this most likely will be a limited-time offering, making these shirts a limited edition.

Okay I got good news and bad news. The good news is I placed an order for 10 each gray and white sizes small to large (60 shirts total) and 6 each XL gray and white...72 shirts total. The bad news is the online store isn't interested in the XXL or XXXL sizes...yet. My advice would be, upon getting their contact info, let them know you want the plus sizes, which are $1 and $2 extra, respectively. If they get enough demand, most likely they will order them! The shirts should be ready to order in a couple weeks. Abayo!

Todd,

Will we then be emailled and told that they're ready to order?

I'm worried I'm gonna miss out, as my net access is gonna be limited for a couple of weeks.

That is correct. I'll send an email to everyone letting them know about the shirts. I will also post an announcement here on the message board. I don't think you'll miss out. If they sell well and they get enough orders, they may want to order more.
