Stumptown--what to bring

Post by Stan Sakai »

The Stumptown Comics Fest in Portland, OR is coming up in a few weeks. Is anyone from the DojoBoard going to be there, and, if so, is there anything you would like me to bring--a particular issue, a hardcover, a piece of artwork?

Here is their website:

I'll be there. Would be very interested in getting artwork. Are you taking commissions or bringing specific pieces?

I will be bringing a portfolio of original drawings.

I don't sell story pages, but I do sell covers, pin-ups, and other non-story art. However, I usually don't bring these higher priced items, unless asked beforehand.

I will be doing a signing at the Dark Horse booth on Saturday. They will be giving away Usagi comics, and a new signature card featuring the cover art of the next trade collection--you know, the zombie one.

Woo Hoo!

Can I put in a request for one of those new signature cards from somebody / anybody who might be in a position to help me out?

I think I will be signing at the DH booth 1-1:45 Saturday, and will have a panel 2-2:45 with Editor Diana. I'm also on a panel on Sunday about historical comics.
