Back from Alaska

Post by Stan Sakai »

I've been off the Boards for awhile because Sharon and I went on an Alaskan cruise with friends. It's something we've wanted to do for a long time, and figured there's no time like the present. We had a great time and ate a lot. Sharon and I went to Denali National Park post cruise and saw 9 grizzlies.

I'm back, but it will take me a few days to get settle back to work.

Good time & good food..... sounds like a perfect trip.
I hope Usagi took care of those Grizzlies for you.

Welcome back. I am sure that this trip was wonderful. Denali national park is a marvel if you like nature and the wild.

For the anecdote, I did live for 3 years in Fairbanks and this is where I first discover Usagi (issue 54) ! Still loving it ;)

Sounds like a great trip. I'd love to take an AK cruise. It's one of the few states I haven't been to.

I know I owe mail to a few of you, but it's getting awhile to get back into the routine of work. Besides, it's been 100 degrees F in LA, much too hot to walk to the post office. I haven't even been taking my morning walks.

I'll send off the mailings as soon as I can.

Enjoy some R&R :) We've had a few days of 95 here in Vancouver, and I'm very glad its hasn't been any hotter.
