#77 a part of comic book heaven? no spoilers

Post by go »

Dear Reader,
Today my local friendly comic book store was a glimpse of comic book heaven.
Usagi Yojimbo #77 ( wait until you see what Usagi is up to this time, nudge, nudge, wink, wink...:))
Albedo Anthropomorphics volume 5 #1 published now by Shanda Fantasy Arts (all new stuff with a written history of Albedo / Erma Felna including Usagi references + more goodies ) I love the Erma Felna story line and am so happy Mr. Gallacci gives us more. $4.99 also available via http://www.shandafantasyarts.net/
Two of my guilty pleasures:
Supernatural Law 101 oneshot about law school (#3.50) "Beware the creatures of the night-they have lawyers!"
Metal Hurlant #12 $3.95 for a mature readers collection of mainly European comics.. where else can Americans read European comics?
Samurai Executioner volume 1 By Kazuo Koike & Goseki Kojima " When the Demon Knife Weeps" from Dark Horse from the creators of Lone Wolf and Cub, etc. $9.95
Bone The Complete Cartoon Epic in One Volume a real bullet stopper $39.95 I am sad Bone is over but I look forward to being able to just sit and reread it all from one volume. www.boneville.com Rumor is these are in short supply so if you see one and want it don't hesitate!
Did I miss anything? Please let me know.
Enjoy your reading!
Thank you again Sensei Sakai, Shogun Todd, all Dojo members and supporters.
Have fun!

I didn't see Steve G. at the SDCC promoting his new Albedo... perhaps it was too close to AnthroCon, which I am assuming he attended...

Steve skipped San Diego this year. He was indeed, at Anthrocon. He almost missed Philadelphia because he thought it was the following week. He realized it Thursday morning, and rushed to the airport just in time to miss his flight. He caught a later flight.

He also missed San Diego last year, as both conventions took place the same weekend.
