I don't suppose you have any UK dates coming up you can let us know about? I'm a relative newcomer to Usagi (roughly 6 months), but im happy to say your work has become an addiction and would love to meet you in person!

Hi Phil--No plans for the UK. I was in London about 5 years ago, but not for a signing. Sharon and I stopped off for a couple of days on our way back from a Spanish convention. We spent a day with a Usagi reader from London and one from Germany who showed us around. It was a wonderful trip.

Comic-Con NYC?

Not this year. The closest I will be to NY is Boston in May.

Okay I'll try to take a bus down there to meet you. Thanks for the heads up. Will you be doing commissions?

I may be able to do a commission beforehand, but certainly not there. It would depend upon my schedule, which I won't know until closer to the museum signing in May.

When you find out exactly when In May please contact me so I can take off from work. Also let me know about that commission. Thank you!

ack well since you cannot make HeroesCon this year the 6 hour drive to Gem-Con is now looking a whole lot better too me !

I need a Stan Sakai Con 101 if anyone gets the chance I know everyone does things a little bit different it seems I am new to the Con game lol

Long Beach Comic-con, November 23-24

I accepted an invitation to speak at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in the fall, probably the second week of October. There will be a public presentation and signing which will be open to everyone. I will update you all on this as plans become firmer.

I have to admit that one of the big reasons for accepting this is to see the fall colors in all their glory.

Autumn is definitely one of the redeeming features of living in Michigan! I bet Wisconsin shares that quality.

Sharon is scheduled to return home in late September, so I have cancelled all travel plans for October. That includes the San Diego Comic Fest, Long Beach Comic-con, and the University of Wisconsin.

My last show this year will be Baltimore Comic-con, at the beginning of September.
