With phpBB forum software, PMs stay in the outbox until the person you sent it to reads the PM. Then it moves to "sent". So if it's still in outbox, it hasn't been read.

You get the "VIP" version of the art book if you buy the $100 "VIP" ticket package. If they decide to sell any of those to at-show attendees on Sunday, I'll try to snag some, but they probably will just be reserved for people who buy the expensive ticket packages.

Lots of good deals at the auction today and many happy collectors. Including me, I got the David Petersen piece. The big ticket item was the Frank Cho, as I recall it went for $1500.

I got Scott Sava's Art Nouveau portrait of Tomoe from the book!

Some very nice pieces, I sort of wish though that some of the print images were included in the book instead, not everyone will be getting all the signatures required to get the extra prints, so that means people will never see those images (including the Frank Cho one).

Still taking orders, I won't have time to check the Dojoboard tomorrow, so if anyone wants the book, they will have to send the payment by Paypal to my earlier info so I can see it while I'm at the con. I asked the shop that runs the convention if they would be selling the book online after the show, I couldn't get a specific answer from them, but they were tending towards making it a convention-exclusive item, not a mailorder item.

Is there a definitive list of the pieces that will only be available as prints and not in the book?

This is the only thing I've seen regarding the signature quest.

The tip-in plates are Frank Cho, Ray Fawkes, Michael Golden, Terry Moore and Mark Texeira. The only name not on the list as being in the book is Terry Moore (My favorite of the 5).

Not very helpful, but I figured I'd share it anyway. :)

Well crud... I'd be wanting the Terry Moore piece. Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for anyone selling it... unless the person picking up the book on my behalf did the signature trail.

Those are all so neat. Wish there was a way (other than eBay) to buy from the Comic-con to get a copy.

2 sets of the 5 signed prints on ebay this morning for $50 per set...

Such a shame that book was not available to everybody. For only $20 they would have cleaned up just selling it to dojo members! I would have bought one for sure! maybe two just for the other cover as well especially at that price.
Anybody have some good pics to share from the con?
