Test Email?

Steve, I did not know you used the DojoBoard mass email feature. I didn't get the email becausethe address listed on my profile was an incorrect one. It's updated now. I just did a test mass email to the Admin's and all appears correct. As long as each user's email address listed in their profile is valid and up to date, and they have enabled the accept email from admin's option, they should receive the mass emails.

I still have not received any of the emails through my Hotmail or Yahoo addresses, except the one you mailed through the DojoList. I just tried removing Hotmail and Yahoo from the banned email list to see if it makes a difference.

Maybe more test emails are in order?

I registered on the forum and on the Dojo list using the same email account which is a yahoo account.
As I mentioned, I got Steve's first email via the forum. Nothing yet from the Dojo list (newsletter list), but then I just signed up the other day...

Yes, I do get notifications to subscribed threads.

Yes, I do get notifications to subscribed threads.

It has probably been several months since I received any thread reply notifications from the forum. I also stopped getting new member account activation notifications at the same time. Since the spam accounts had become almost overwhelming, Mayhem and I changed the new member account activation from from self activation to administrative activation. That was working great since we could filter out the spam accounts and just activate the real ones, until we both stopped getting any emails from the forum.....

Well, I managed to get a email notification from this thread when I posted with my alternate account which is set up with my yahoo mail account. Let's see if I get another one....

There may be a case in point there Steve. Unfortunately the sheer number of spam accounts being set up on free email providers is increasing, which is why I've shoved many of them into the banned email list. Case in point, we've had three new spam accounts (by my reckoning) in the last few hours and all are via Hotmail. It may be a necessary virtue to exclude them permanently.
