Saw this on Ebay before heading into work on Sunday.

It was still there after I got out of work, so.......

It is going to feel like a long week while waiting for this to arrive. :D

Whoa, are you kidding me?!?!?! You got that for a BIN @ $30? And, it's even made out to "Steve". Holy cow, what a score! To get an original piece for $30 is insane. I'm jealous, but congrats!!!!

Dear Readers,
Is this about being vigilant?
Could this be good karma related to Steve's work at our Dojo?
Thank you very much Steve for being an excellent Taisho!
Best wishes to all,
go

I usually don't check ebay regularly for Usagi stuff, but I do get the daily emails for favorite searches for "Usagi Yojimbo" and "Stan Sakai" which is usually limited to showing about 15 items in the email. Also, by the time I get the emails, and if there is anything good, it is usually long gone.

I think I got lucky with this because:

1) the seller had feedback of only 7, and none from actually selling (all as a buyer).
2) the item had next to no description concerning the drawing.
3) the photo is relatively small compared to what most sellers are now providing.
4) the buy it Now price is way below what would be expected for such an item.
4) the drawing could easily be mistaken as a signed back cover of an issue of Usagi Yojimbo

The package should arrive Thursday so I will find out then if it is actually a back cover signed by Stan or a really under-priced convention drawing.....

:D

Oh, it could be karma as well.
On my way home from work around 2:30am this past week, I came upon a lady and her 3 year old daughter on the side of the road, their car out of gas, the temperature in the low single digits, and no money to fill the gas can they had. I gave them a ride to the gas station and back and paid for a couple gallons of gas. By the time we returned to their car, the county sheriff had come upon it so I dropped them off and continued on my way home.

That settles it, karma.

Good man, Steve, are you.

Peace, maka

Did you buy it? I had my finger hovering over the buy button for a day, deciding whether to get it or not.
