Re: Hello! New fan of Usagi!
Cool thank you for the help. I'm hoping that in the new issues set to be released in May we will finally see them kiss. Crosses fingers. I did just get Yokai! And wow was it great! I laughed when sasuke scared usagi almost to death! Lol!
I'm hoping to get traitors of the earth next. And on the topic of kitsune and usagi kissing I can see chizu and kitsune fighting for the attention and love of the rabbit ronin!
Now if I can find out what those straps are I see the characters use to keep their sleeves from getting in the way are called! I've searched on the Internet but nothing!

Wished they had continued the series.
But I just found out what those straps are called: Tasuki
Took me a while to find it.

Cool and thank you for the links! I'm also doing some research on different edo period outfits too. I'm also doing research on how Europeans and Americans viewed the Japanese prior to the Meiji restoration.

Paperback actually but it's still good! I've ordered traitors of the earth and I'm looking forward to getting it next week!Mayhem wrote:Have you got the Usagi hardcover?PalmettoKnight1 wrote:Also been doing some research on yokai.

And correct me if I'm wrong but the last issue was 144 right? I saw the cover had usagi fighting in the rain for 145 but I guess now that it includes chizu and kitsune the cover will change huh?

I wasn't aware Yokai had been released in paperback...? I thought it was hardcover only.

Oops! Sorry I was thinking of another usagi yojimbo volume! Yeah I got the hardback. Very excellent artwork. And you'll be surprised what you find at thrift stores.Mayhem wrote:I wasn't aware Yokai had been released in paperback...? I thought it was hardcover only.

I worked in a book store once upon a time. I miss it sometimes, but not as much as I miss having an actual variety of bookstores in town here. At least there is still a Barnes and Noble.....PalmettoKnight1 wrote:Oops! Sorry I was thinking of another usagi yojimbo volume! Yeah I got the hardback. Very excellent artwork. On a happier note, I got my tax refund back and immediately ordered a few books....
Usagi Yojimbo nº28 Escorpión rojo (Planeta DeAgostini 2/2015)
Las aventuras de Nilson Groundthumper (Planeta DeAgostini 1/2015)
47 Roninów (Egmont 2/2015)
Now I just need to order Usagi Yojimbo 23: Most slz (Crew 2/2015)

Re: Hello! New fan of Usagi!
I'm lookig forward to seeing the new issues and traitors of the earth! However for some reason Books a million is listing the release days as being different from what dark horse comics is saying. Weird huh? Anyhow what was the first usagi yojimbo comic you read?Steve Hubbell wrote:I worked in a book store once upon a time. Re: Hello! New fan of Usagi!
The dates for the releases on the Dark Horse web-site are for the Direct Distribution system which supply comic shops and are the dates which the books should show up in the actual comic shops. Books a million, Barnes & Noble, Amazon and other bookstores get their books through a completely separate book distribution system which usually runs a bit slower than the direct distribution system which is why the release dates for such places is usually after the comic shops have received the books.....PalmettoKnight1 wrote:I'm lookig forward to seeing the new issues and traitors of the earth!
