I saw it, but it was too damaged to convince me to click the bidding button.Mayhem wrote:I completely forgot to post this auction here... sorry... looks like someone got a "bargain" by comparison![]()

Actually, a friend sold this on my behalf. I was curious to see how much it would go for.
I had stated on another thread that right now I sell copies of the Saga vol 1 HC to Dojo members for $300. That will probably change soon, though.
After this year's Heroes Con.

Looks like that one that Stan had sold on his behalf has been relisted, due to the winner pulling out (ooer missus). Second chance folks

Really? The buyer had received the book and even gave positive feedback.
He will sell a few more on my behalf, however. Maybe that is what you saw.

Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281674789935?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT
Note at the bottom of the auction - "RE-LISTING DUE TO BUYER CANCELING, please only big [sic] if you are serious"
There's only one completed auction in ToykoPunk's history, and that was the book sold prior that I linked to. And there's no feedback listed for the book either
(this IS definitely the same person we're talking about here Stan?)

This seller is in Japan. I don't know who he is. My friend who sold an AP for about $500 is in California. The buyer was very happy. Besides the head sketch on the tip-in plate and the full page sketch, there was another, unpublicized, sketch in the book.Mayhem wrote:Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281674789935?_t ... He will also be selling a couple pieces of art for me, just to test the waters.

Good news for those people who can't make it to see you at a convention that you are attending. Plus, these extra sketches seems to be (at least to me) more detailed than the typical quick sketch. Good luck on the auctions. eBay will give you a larger audience who is interested in purchasing your sketches, covers or other things. Hopefully that means higher prices for you and happy fans.Stan Sakai wrote: My friend who sold an AP for about $500 is in California. The buyer was very happy. It would be cool if he ends up handling all of your sales. Commissions, books, shirts, etc. It would save me a 1000 mile road trip.Stan Sakai wrote:He will also be selling a couple pieces of art for me, just to test the waters.

His plan is to create a personal website that will also sell some of my art, signed books, etc. I will also have a blog, news, step-by-steps, etc.Gaffey wrote:It would be cool if he ends up handling all of your sales.
