Stan's Art Lessons

Post by leonid »

Hello friends,

Over the years, I've seen the sensei produce a lot of insight into the production of comic art and watercolours, inking, lettering, etc. Most of these are spread out among stuff like facebook posts in the facebook thread.

I'd like to suggest kindly that maybe some of the higher ups in the forum and also in contact with the facebook account could collect all these Art lessons into a single thread (or a facebook album for the more general public). I used to study art as a kid and that quality of advice was hard to find. If they are all put together they will be a great trove of tips for any budding artist.

Cheers.

If you would like to help think up a suitable name for a new sub-section for the Dojo forum to be devoted to housing all of Stan's "step by step" posts and such, I will see about making such a section and start transferring everything over that deserves to be in it.

Stan's Comic Art Lessons might be suitable. It might fit it the art gallery section.

How does "Step by Step: A Look Behind the Art of Stan Sakai" sound?

I just wanted to say I really enjoy the new Step by Step board.
It's great having these various works all in one easy to find place. :D

I agree. The board administrators (A.k.a. Steve mostly) are taking care of business! Nicely done, gents! with gratitude, maka

My internet has been a bit dodgy lately, so apologies about the late response.
