I dunno.... I know who the character is.... but honestly, I can't find WHERE. I've tried Googling numerous ways...

Re: Weekly Trivia Challenge: June 1-7
Yes it is. CHARLIE BROWN and USAGI appear in the same image. You won't find it by googling Peanuts or anything like that.maichan wrote:Is it a drawing by Stan?
It's been posted on Facebook, the Dark Horse website and probably here (not sure) within the past 6 months. Concentrate on the picture I posted below.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Question 1: Which Peanuts character has made a special appearance with Usagi and where can we find it? I never said it was **IN** a comic/tpb/hardcover, etc.
*Dark Horse
Dark Horse published the image
*You don't have to own any of the comics to spot this "blockhead".
This was my attempt at a joke. "Blockhead" is one of his nicknames and also his appearance.
*This character may look a little different than you're used to. See above.

There are multiple clues in the picture above. The character, the weather and both comics (characters) were originally drawn in B&W, but can be **FOUND IN COLOR**.
Anybody with access to the internet can find the answer to question 1.

I'm with you. I have spent A LOT of time googling and searching the internet, and I am not a complete idiot on internet searching, and I have not found it.maichan wrote:I dunno.... I know who the character is.... but honestly, I can't find WHERE. I've tried Googling numerous ways...![]()

Like most riddles, if you know the answer it always looks easy, but trust me, this is NOT an easy find.
Not saying that it should be but this is not easy. Still looking.

I know the answer to question #1 Because Gaffey told me and I have to say it is not easy....
Re: Weekly Trivia Challenge: June 1-7
I asked someone else to look at it and they couldn't figure it out either.Steve Hubbell wrote:I know the answer to question #1 Because Gaffey told me and I have to say it is not easy....
Ok, Let's try it this way.BuckRogers wrote:Like most riddles, if you know the answer it always looks easy, but trust me, this is NOT an easy find.
*You all know by now that it's Charlie Brown. We have that covered.
*The image you're looking for isn't INSIDE of any Usagi or Usagi related books.
*It's Dark Horse related
*My "Blockhead" comment/joke has two meanings (one of which is a nickname) - someone figured out both of them.
*It won't look exactly like Charlie Brown
*You don't have to OWN any of the books to find the answer.
*And what I think is the icing on the cake..........(only because I wrote the question - I know, I know)
I'm laughing while I type this. It's a nervous laugh, but a laugh nonetheless.

Re: Weekly Trivia Challenge: June 1-7
I figured it out!
Before, I had been looking at the image that's similar to the one you're referring to and didn't see Charlie in there. Little did I know just how close I was to the answer. Hours after giving up my search, I suddenly recalled that Stan kind of re-created that image more recently and I just looked and found Charlie hiding out in the newer version. I'm not putting myself into the drawings for the prize pack (to keep it fair, I don't think the person running the giveaway should be a contender) and don't know the answer to part 2 anyway. But I just wanted to say that you gave more than enough hints to find it and I'm surprised it took me as long as it did to come up with the answer, as it was in the first or second section of the Dark Horse site that I looked (I somehow just breezed right over the image even though it met all the criteria I was browsing for).

Re: Weekly Trivia Challenge: June 1-7
Okay.... got it.
I thought I could find it searching Google, because I 1) thought it would be older, 2) figured there was a direct reference to it..... Wrong.
You gave a clue that made it quite clear, but being the blockhead that I am I did not look that direction, and even when I did, I had to look again after Jabba mentioned something... then it was BINGO!

So, in order to avoid confusion and not have the winner forget or anything (not that that would ever happen) are we now saying that it is @go's turn for the weekly question???

Yes, it is go's turn. I sent him a PM earlier today.

I had wondered if those were still available, and I had been looking at a couple books I was interested in ordering from them.Gaffey wrote:Yes, it is go's turn. I sent him a PM earlier today.
