Re: 2016 Convention schedule
Sorry I will miss you at WonderCon this year, but I get it. They always schedule it over Easter weekend, which is a drag...but this time it will be at the L.A. Convention center which should be interesting. I've got my fingers crossed on SDCC. I was not able to get badges for pre-registration, so I'll try again early next year for open reg...
Re: 2016 Convention schedule
Stan, is it the www.londonfilmandcomicconspring.com that you'll be going to at the end of february?
I see that it's not on the 2016 list (or on their guest list) and just wondering if it's just i's being dotted?

Re: 2016 Convention schedule
I didn't know that OTHER London convention had a Spring edition until a mate of mine mentioned it last week, I thought it was just July. Yes, I believe it's LFAC that Stan is arranging to be at. We were both hoping Stan would be at LSCC instead, because we are both likely to be at that one, and LFAC doesn't have the greatest reputation for treating their guests well, according to friends of mine. Hopefully that won't apply to Stan should he make it across. My comic store is usually selling at the Cardiff event each year Stan is also planning to attend, so I might mention that to them, as I'm sure they may want to meet him.
Given both factors, I may think about the Welsh event instead, as I've not met the folks I get my comics from before (the store is about 150 miles from where I live!) so would be nice to hit two birds, one stone.

Oh right, so you're not (sadly) coming to the UK next year then Stan? Or are you still planning on making the Cardiff show in March 2016?

The Cardiff show will be a week after the London show in 2017, so we will be at those.Mayhem wrote:Oh right, so you're not (sadly) coming to the UK next year then Stan? Or are you still planning on making the Cardiff show in March 2016?

Gotcha. Guess they're moving them earlier in the year for some reason... maybe to get out of the way of the other London con or something. Look forward to seeing you back on British soil in 2017 then Stan

It's England, 2017, eh...?
I'll keep that in mind; would be a good occasion for another meet & greet, wouldn't it?!
