Well, not only is tomorrow's Bakersfield Comic Con a ways to drive, but I ended up having to work tomorrow anyway, so I won't be making it to that convention. On the plus side, I saw this morning that Julie had a table at the Koi Krafters Christmas Show and she brought Stan along. Since it was only a 30 minute drive, I immediately grabbed my UY Gallery Edition, hopped in my car, and drove over. It was a fun little show (with free admission!) and Stan had crazy low prices on some 4x6 watercolors so I bought a pair. I was tempted to buy more, but didn't want to hog them all.
Stan drew me an enormous sketch in the Gallery Edition and I had a great time talking with Julie and him. I also spent some time talking to Daniel about the website, forum, video games and some other fun things. Keeping in mind that I'm usually terrible about taking pictures of Stan's booth as you guys have requested before, I made sure to grab a picture this time. I forgot that I was going to ask Julie about getting a commission from her at some point in the future, so I guess I'll have to wait until the next show. I'd love to get something from her to add to my collection.

Julie and Stan. They had a big 3-sided booth. That's Daniel in the background (with his back to us) manning the other side and a tiny piece of Emi (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly, as I'm horrible with names) selling merch on the third side.

Got my Gallery Edition signed and sketched!

The two watercolors I grabbed. There was a third one I wish I would have purchased; a human flying a windsock/kite thing. But like I said, I didn't want to hog them all.
