General discussion about Usagi Yojimbo, the comics, the stories, the characters, collectibles, TV appearances, Stan Sakai, Space Usagi, Nilson & Hermy, and all other related topics.
I'll get to posting some scans/images of my haul from the con some time during the week... including a ripper of a piece by Mike Dialynas of Usagi and Leo
In the meantime... I happened to bump into this lass near the end of the show...!
Huge Usagi fan in general apparently. She had NO idea that Stan was going to be in London next weekend, so we may see her about there too heh...
With a breeze comes a storm, but then you'll all be washed away...
wow, this is really a fine costume!!she even makes usagi kind of hot.hahahaha
but honestly, to me this is so far the best costime interpretation of myamoto usagi I have seen...bravo!
The Usagi vs. Leo piece is brilliant. So good!!! That is back cover worthy on an upcoming issue of Usagi or should be in an upcoming Saga edition as a pin up page.
Great Pieces Mayhem. Thanks for sharing. The Usagi piece really is amazing. Couple of questions: Did you request the commissions before the show from all the artists? Were you familiar with all the artists' work before you asked for the commissions? Or did you walk up and down Artist Alley and if you like their work you ask them to draw something for you? Thanks again.

Thanks for the comments everyone. In answer to the questions:
- Yes, for all of them bar Katie, she took a very small list at the start of Saturday. And the Rubus piece was in his portfolio, it wasn't a commission.
- Somewhat, I knew Jeremy, Katie, Lee Bradley and Mike Dialynas already. The others were being commissioned by other people I knew and I had a look at bits of their work to determine who I liked.
- I could have, in some cases, if I'd arrived early enough to be there when the doors opened, but I didn't need to!

Sadly the lass dressed as Usagi (she's called Zee) caught something at LSCC last weekend and was too ill to make it to LFCC today. I hope she can get herself there tomorrow perhaps

Unfortunately, she is quite ill, and won't make it to the convention. However, I asked that she send photos to Editor Aaron for publication in an issue of UY.
