Duncan Fegredo Mystery Project

Post by Lobster Johnson »

On twitter today I saw Hellboy artist Duncan Fegredo say this:
"...I got to draw a little Usagi for something recently."
When asked if he could say what, his reply was "not yet..."
This is interesting. I wonder what it is.

Maybe Lobster could meet the pulp hero Usagi descendant "Shadow of the Rabbit" that's been mentioned in interviews. That is the ultimate comic book in my mind. 8)

in addition to the "not yet....", there was also "it was only a small part but a highlight :)"

so I dunno if there should be *too* much read into this?

The mystery project was the cover of this month's Previews! I saw it at my LCS. It's a cover for Dark Horse Day, on June 4th, and it features a bunch of Dark Horse characters. Lone Wolf is handing Cub an issue of Usagi Yojimbo, and Usagi himself is elsewhere in the comic book store that all of the characters are in.

It's not a wraparound is it, and that's only "half" the cover?
