Moving to Germany
Been away form the site for a few months.
Found out just after the New Year that the family and I are moving to Germany for the next 4-6 years!!!
We are very excited!
Anyways, just thought I would share and see if we have some German friends here in the dojo???

Good to see you back on the Dojo, BuckRogers! I was wondering where you disappeared!
Good luck in moving to Germany.
Maybe we'll meet in a european convention!

Re: Moving to Germany
Welcome back Buck! The past few weeks I'd thought about messaging you on Facebook a few times since I hadn't seen you here in a while. I'm glad all is well.

Re: Moving to Germany
Yes (or maybe I should say, "Ja"), things got very crazy the last few months!
Very psyched to be moving to Europe but man what a lot of planning, etc, even if it is a military move!
All is good and everyone is very excited about the move. We'll be living near Kaiserslautern about 25 miles from the French border so maybe it will not be too far from you @Eltanin?

Best of luck with the move, and be sure to update your address for the Dojo Christmas Card Mailing list!BuckRogers wrote:Been away form the site for a few months.

As far as Usagi fans and Dojo members over there, Marcel (coolray85), Joerg (joergwesti), Jens (TigerRider), David (Mr-Redgie), and Thomas are in Germany and Stéphane (Fanfan) is over in France…..

Re: Moving to Germany
I'm currently living in the North of Italy, but I will most likely move somewhere else soon if/when I find a job. Which could be pretty much anywhere in Europe.BuckRogers wrote: All is good and everyone is very excited about the move. I hope you will enjoy Germany. My best friend has been living there for the past two years (near Hamburg, more in the North), and he seems to have a great time.

Re: Moving to Germany
hi there buck,
good to hear that you are doing well first of all:)hey, you are moving to germany, that is great!
maybe we can all chose one of the german comic cons that are popping up in many cities since last/this year as a background to gather the german usagi fans (and everyone else who want to join in of course:))..these conventions are a stay I guess...
I will at stuttgart comic con next month but this may be much too early for you to make it think.
good luck on the move!
greetings

Re: Moving to Germany
Congratulations Captain,
What a great opportunity for your family. My uncle was a civilian worker for the US Army. He was stationed in Germany for many years. His kids and family benefited from the global experience of living in another country. Wish you the best. Peace, maka

Oi! My Duo Lingo app has not made it that far yet but it sounds a bit like "a wonderful adventure for the whole family! Very good!" in which case I agree and I thank you!maichan wrote:Congrats Captain Rogers!

Re: Moving to Germany
WOW, that's some news!
You will be only about 100 kilometers from my home than.^^ That definetly will lead to one or more meetings.
(And an aunty of my mother lives next to Kaiserlautern)
If you can afford the time, I will get your family and you to all events here around.
Keep me updated!
Greetings,
Jens
