Boston--what to bring?
Is anybody here going to the Boston Comic-con? We (Julie, Daniel, Emi, and myself) are. This is their first trip to that area.
I've already gotten a few commissions via FaceBook, but is there anything anyone here wants me to bring? As you know, I travel much lighter on these faraway conventions.

I'd love a copy of the Dojo 20th Anniversary comic, but I cannot attend, unfortunately. If anyone is willing to pick one up for me, I'd be greatly appreciative!

Daniel arranged to get a couple of copies graded by CGC. My first time. I picked them up at Comic-con.ratlas wrote:I'll be there.

I also got my copy of TMNT #1 (signed and sketched by Peter and Kevin) graded as well.

Do you have any ungraded copies you're interested in selling?Stan Sakai wrote:Daniel arranged to get a couple of copies graded by CGC. My first time. I picked them up at Comic-con.

Hey Stan, Any chance you are taking any new prints to Boston which you didn't have at San Diego?

We don't plan on having any more new prints this year. We are debating on whether to retire prints once they sell out and have new ones every year, or have all the previous prints available.Steve Hubbell wrote:Hey Stan, Any chance you are taking any new prints to Boston which you didn't have at San Diego?

Re: Boston--what to bring?
It would be neat to see a series of limited release convention prints that highlighted each convention that you attended, as long as the convention organizers did not object......

Of course, Dojo members not attending the events would have to be able to acquire them as well...
EDIT:
Another sample....

Re: Boston--what to bring?
I have gotten no requests from Dojo members for anything at Boston. I am bringing a few trading cards, Dojo 20th Anniversary Sketchbooks, etc but those would probably be given away to interested parties the first day. If anyone here is going and would like something, let me know ASAP.
