I can't argue with that. :) Though the idea of plain t-shirts with a simple mon appeals, too.

Here's a sample of just one of the t-shirts that I mentioned. I bought many of them at least 8 or 9 years ago from Uniqlo in Japan. Uniqlo usually comes out with new themes and designs every year. These were mostly having to do with old time businesses.

We think this one represents Hoshi Onsen.

Adult colouring books are all the rage at the moment. Some are even in the top 100 books on Amazon. Usagi seems like a good match, beautiful line art, those pictures of open fields, thunderheads crashing, windswept trees, Usagi wandering into towns etc.

Could be lucrative too if the stars align.

Someone was unaware that Stan/Daniel have already entered the market with a product ;)

If you're into Mouse Guard as well, David Petersen has released a colouring book too.

A throw pillow with the Usagi chop on it would be really neat!

Sort of on topic, but a little late since I just found out about this yesterday from one of my co-workers... DCON

Maybe Daniel and Stan already know about or attend designer cons (as attendees). We just had one locally in Pasadena. DCON - DesignerCon. Might be a good place to get ideas on all the latest trends.
About DesignerCon
Designer Con is an annual art and design convention that smashes together collectible toys and designer goods with urban, underground and pop art! DCon is over 90,000 sq. ft. and features over 350 vendors, art & custom shows, live demonstrations, and much more! The show coordinators strive to provide a fun, safe, comfortable environment for fans, artists, and vendors to meet. Join us every November at the Pasadena Convention Center for a weekend of fun, toys, and art!
Looking through the website and program guide, I see all sorts of things that might be cool with Usagi Yojimbo...

I just wanted to revisit this thread as recently I've been thinking about how cool it would be to do an Usagi version of "Tales of the Guard" Mouse Guard books, where it's characters sitting around a campfire (maybe some woodcutters and farmers) or townsfolk at a restaurant telling stories they've heard of the "long eared ronin". Stan would draw the woodcutters/farmers (or whoever is telling the stories), while a bunch of artists would contribute the actual short stories that are being told, just like the Tales of the Guard books do. My personal dream team would consist of:

David Petersen
Mike Mignola
Sergio Aragones
Jeff Smith
Anthony Wheeler
Christopher Uminga
Chrissie Zullo
Jeremy Bastian
Travis Hanson
Matt Kindt
Cullen Bunn (written by)
Jeff Lemire
Katie Cook
Gary Gianni
Julie Fujii Sakai
Mateus Santolouco
Jason
Eric Talbot
Jonathan Marks
Megan Levens
Gabriel Rodriguez
Skottie Young
Dave Crosland
Rob Duenas
Duncan Fegredo
Jake Parker
Robb Mommaerts

That's probably enough artists for 2-3 books. I'd buy them all.

This is a great idea and I'd be all over it!

When are you seeing Stan again?

That is a great idea, and your list of artist is also great haha. I really want to see Stan and Mignola do something together or just do a take on one anothers comics. I've had Mike's Usagi drawing as my phones wallpaper for ages.
