I am not on the member list

Hi! My username is meadowhaze but for some reason it will not allow me to post a message using it. So here is the message:

Even though I joined the UY dojo some time ago I was never added to the memeber list. Today I re-regestered thinking that might be the problem. I am hoping to see my name on the list soon. Maybe you can help. Rachel

Thing is, we don't have anyone out there to help us update the listing. It's a manual process that is quite time-consuming. One day hopefully someone will step up to the plate and have at it... or maybe Aaron-san can dig up a script to make it all automatic???? Aaron? What say you?

Well, I've been thinking about it but Dojo members are reluctant with their personal info (which I understand) but it makes it hard to keep that list current.

Maybe things would be more simple if people had to enter a username and password to see the member list (ie. only subscribed members can see the list or at least some details). Then I would have to add a user management system which adds the user to the Dojoboard, too (if he wants that is). Not so simple.

I'll poke at it again when the admin site for the comic/character/story pages are installed because then I'll have to implement some user management system to protect these pages. Maybe something will occur to me, then.

I have time to do it during the day time. I work midnights as a nurse and have the day to myself when chris is sleeping or playing. I dont think it would take too long but I am willing to do it

Heh Don't. I've converted the guestbook entries into a more uniform format which will allow me to create the Dojo Member list much more easily. It's just that I don't have the time to finish this work which could be done manually but it would be very boring.

Instead, have a look at the characters and stories at the UY Journal and send me some more character descriptions and story synopses!
