There was a Buy it Now for $99.99. It's a PC = Publisher's Copy

I'm absolutely shocked that somebody bid on this instead of doing a buy it now for $99 with free shipping.
That is probably a one time chance to get it for that price. I would imagine that it will sell for over $250 or $300
I wish I had checked ebay yesterday mid morning. I would have bought that as soon as I saw it and used it to trade for some of the HC's I'm missing.
The same seller has 2, 3, 4 and 5 for sale starting bid at $39 and they are also PC copies. That is a comparable price to Instocktrades which are the standard numbered editions. Not sure if most people think a PC copy is worth more than another edition.

I'm curious what editions everybody else prefers...the numbered editions, PC edition or the AP edition?
I would always prefer an AP edition direct from Stan as a first choice.
Anybody know why Darkhorse stopped numbering the PC and AP editions?

That is exactly what I thought when I saw the bid. I wish I had seen it pre-bid as well, as I would have bought it in an instant!

It's already over $250. I should have purchased it when I saw it. It had been viewed by 3 or 4 people that also decided not to buy it. I never thought about using it as trade bait. Stupid brain......

I already have a copy so don't *need* one, but it never hurts to have two copies, right?

I have a copy as well and don't need another one but something like this is worth having another copy since it is in such high demand. So, I messaged the seller early this morning because I figured he might be a Darkhorse employee or something especially since he had a whole set of PC copies. We talked and he had another copy and sold it to me for the buy it now price! I couldn't believe it.
He has since listed a second set of volume 2,3,4 PC copies.
I find it never hurts to ask. I've got some amazing deals on other HC's on eBay just by asking and being nice.

Well, I didn't need 3, but I couldn't pass up the price they were on IST. Paying $99.99 for something that was going to just sit on my shelf seemed absurd. :P

That's cool. 8) He knew he could get $200+ and still sold it to you for $99.99! I don't see him getting alot for the other books though. They're everywhere! I think he would get more action if they were APs.

Now you can flip it for those missing books!

Dear Readers,
Hatamoto Gaffey, please do not feel like an idiot.
With a book as rare as this, is it not better to let another fan have one?
Best wishes to all!

I could have purchased it for $99, flipped it for $500, and then purchased a piece of art from Stan with the profit.

A WIN, WIN, WIN SITUATION. :)

$623
If demand is so high for volume 1 I have to think a reprint will happen at some point. Right? Maybe even just a back to press 300 edition run or something??? Has that happened for anything before?

Do 600 copies less make that big of a difference? Obviously 1,500 copies is enough to exceed demand. So what is that magic number, that fully meets demand...1,200?
The standard individual HC's have smaller print runs and don't command those prices. Not even Grasscutter or even vol. 18 & 19 would reach $600...at least to my knowledge.

WOW! For whatever reason these people value a PC more than Stan's APs and the regular print run.

You could put yours up with a Buy it Now of $500+!
