I'm digging all these UY toys. It's fun to see all the different styles of UY in 3D. Thanks for posting everyone. We don't have a walmart in my area, so I guess I'll have to make a road trip or eBay. Looking forward to Jei figure too. And 3A figure. Peace, maka

Kevin Eastman featured an Usagi/TMNT comic that will be a pack-in with some of the Playmates action figures. It has a cool cover by Stan. The picture is of a signed one that Kevin was selling, but I'm pretty certain the ones in the figure packs will be unsigned.
I'm not sure what figures will include the comic book, but I'd guess the Usagi on horse would have large enough packaging to fit a full sized comic book in it (assuming it has the normal comic book dimensions).
Edit: saw a post that said the SDCC exclusive Usagi w/ 3 switch out heads comes with a comic book.

Dear Readers,
This image looks a lot like the pinup Sensei Sakai made for Tales of TMNT #25.
Best wishes to all.

Ah, you are absolutely correct! I wasn't familiar with Tales of the TMNT, but when I looked it up, sure enough, that's the pinup he did. While conducting that search, I also discovered Stan did a pinup of a dinosaur, Usagi, and Leo in Tales of the TMNT (vol. 2) #53. Thanks for the heads up!go wrote:Dear Readers,

Yes, this comic will be included with the SDCC Exclusive. We went to Playmates today and saw the lineup. I really like the packaging of this exclusive in particular. It comes in a big box with a flap rather than a blister pack.jabba359 wrote:

This is the first time I have seen this particular piece of art colored. The interior of the comic is black and white and prints two crossover stories--Turtle Soup/Rabbit Stew (the first meeting with Leo) and The Treaty.

I can only imagine this will be next to impossible to get unless they give Kevin and Stan a lot of comps.Edit: saw a post that said the SDCC exclusive Usagi w/ 3 switch out heads comes with a comic book.

I have to say that this is now part of my SDCC "wish list" for this year. I have never been much into chasing after the various action figures, but if it comes with a really awesome Usagi comic, then I can make an exception. Here's hoping that Kyle can "acquire" enough of these to fulfill everybody's requests.

The cover had been bugging me, and then I worked it out, but Go already posted here where it was originally published heh.
So no new content then? At least I don't have to worry so much about missing out on anything new at least...Stan Sakai wrote:This is the first time I have seen this particular piece of art colored. I thought you meant he was selling these at cons and I just found out that they WERE available on his website.jabba359 wrote:Kevin Eastman featured an Usagi/TMNT comic that will be a pack-in with some of the Playmates action figures. And they sold out quite quickly. I don't know how many he had to begin with, though.Gaffey wrote:I thought you meant he was selling these at cons and I just found out that they WERE available on his website.jabba359 wrote:Kevin Eastman featured an Usagi/TMNT comic that will be a pack-in with some of the Playmates action figures. The first time I saw this comic was at Playmates yesterday.
