Stan's contribution to this year's Baltimore Comic Con Yearbook - Mike Wieringo's Tellos.

Sorry, this is the largest image I could find on the internet.

Where did you get this? I was told to keep it under wraps until the book was published. And they leaked it out!

Julie and I will be guests at the Baltimore Comic-con and I was asked to contribute to the Yearbook, with the Tellos theme. At first I declined because of deadlines and traveling (I am in Hawaii right now). They offered to make my art a print, that way I can turn in the art at the very last minute. I was a print the last time, for the Mouse Guard tribute, and did not want to be again, so I made time to meet the original deadline. I was about 2 months early.

The ideal piece would have been a collaboration between Julie and myself, but when I had time she was super busy.

Edit: Thank you. I found it.

Both tribute books should also be delivered before Baltimore Comic Con.

Given Stan and David P both have pieces in this, then I may well pick it up :)

Stan's contribution to this book has actually made me curious as to how many other publications like this he has contributed to in the past....

What type of voodoo did you use to do that?

I ordered the tribute books some time ago, and look forward to getting them.

The big question that looms right now is how to get the Yearbook?

I picked up the Usagi yearbook on eBay for very close to the original price. Same with the Mouse Guard one. If I recall correctly, Baltimore Comic Con makes the books available on their online store as well.

Either someone at Baltimore can buy it, or the con website does make it available after the show as said, or eBay. Have to see if there are any chaser plates this time like before. Hopefully both Stan and David's pieces will be in the book itself.

Yeah, there were a couple of Dojo members that did just that for the 2013 book - which is how I got my copy. I'm okay with getting a copy from online after the show - I did some searching, and it looks like a comic shop in Baltimore still has some 2013 books for around $20 (not including any prints though). So I'm sure they'll have these new ones too.
