a question about furry comics
hey everyone,
i'm Joe. i have a question about furry comics. i know there isn't alot of comic books with furry animals in it. the only ones i know is archie comic's sonic the hedgehog and of course stan sakai's usagi yojimbo. i heard of captain carrot was coming back but it turn out to be an april fools joke. i heard of shanda the panda but that's an adult comic.so i was wounding if anyone know any other furry comics series that's not Mature Readers only. both usagi yojimbo and sonic are kid friendly. thank you for your time.

thanks usagi,
i already went to rabbitvalley.com today. i heard of the site in the back of a usagi yojimbo comic. i look and alot of then there isn't any more issues. and alot mile high comics doesn't hold. i found this really cool site with a good comic book series called specter 7. which looks like a battle of the planets(aka g-force) clone. but i want to check it out. it's the same company who makes gold diggers and ninja high school mangas.

If you don't mind looking for older comics, Fantagraphics Books series "Critters" (which contained several Usagi Yojimbo and Nilson Groundthumper stories) had lots of other anthropomoorphic material including Captain Jack and Lionheart (both of which are worth looking into farther). You could also look for the old "Space Arc" comics by Mitchroony (sp?) whom Stan did a Usagi crossover story with. Definitely check out the two volumes of "Space Beaver". Despite the title, they are not adult content stories and one of the original issues even contained a "Groo" sketch by Srgio Aragones. There was / is a series called Tallos (sp?) which I have not read but looks to be a medieval story with anthropomorphicc characters. You might try looking into that also.
Good luck...
P.S. Definitely check out Stan's own Nilson Groundthumper and Hermie stories, if you haven't already.
Abayo...
