Does "retailer exclusive" mean a specific shop? I do like Charles Vess's work. I wonder if it'll be available online then?

I am still drawing, of course. Here's a quick sketch for an alternative cover to the new, first issue of my friend Stan Sakai's long running and delightful series, Usago Yojimbo. It'll be available as both printed copies and the fully painted original at Heroes Con in June.

And here's the finished pencils for the alternate cover (A Heroes Con exclusive) for the new run of Usagi Yojimbo from Stan Sakai and IDW. Inks to follow soon.

Yes, this will be a convention exclusive. Any remainders will probably be sold through Shelton Drum’s store Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find.

Selling the 1:10 for the same price as the regular A cover is the unusual thing here heh. Albeit yeah $20 for a 1:10 is way overpriced. As the levels of future ordering is somewhat unknown, then judging the DCBS asking price for the 1:25 and 1:50 is hard to judge right now.

At those prices, I think I'll pass. I'll take my chances on the eBay market and if it doesn't come to be, I'm okay with that. I didn't get a copy of the Usagi/TMNT retailer variant cover, and that was fine. In the end, it is all about the story.

That is a sweet Vess cover, though.
