Dojo "Stranger Things" Episode 3

So, while we're having strange goings on here at the Dojo, here's another one to add to the list.

Ya know how we're alerted of a new post by the icon turning red, and once you visit the thread it turns back to blue.... well, that's not happening with this one particular thread. And what weirder is it shows Steve was the last poster, but he's not. That honor goes to Eshbaal....

Haha... yeah, it was making me wonky at first, because I thought it was just me (my computer). I kept going back & forth, logging in & out and back in again.

Steve musta done something "funny".....

So it happened again, but a post by Angilasman this time.

Here's the Screen cap that showed he was the last poster, but every time I checked the thread, the last post wasn't by him. The last post was by Kaimuki on Fri June 21, 2019 17:36 +0000 Also, even though I would visit the thread, it always showed as unread.

And Angilasman said he didn't delete his post.

... it's all very strange.

Page 2 starts with a post by me maichan » Sat Jun 22, 2019 11:04 +0000 and currently ends with one by me maichan » Sun Jun 23, 2019 10:35 +0000, there are 7 posts on page 2, making 22 posts in total.

This happened one time with something Steve posted elsewhere. I think there is something common in both instances, it happened at the page break, from page 1 to page 2.

Maybe you can see it because you're an Admin?

Ah yeah, not the same post then. It does not appear if I click on the thread. However... if I search through his posts, then I do see it

Yeah, I see the same as you. And even stranger, I looked up Paul's profile and clicked to see his posts, and it shows up there, but if I click on the "Jump to post" button, it takes me right back to the thread without the post.

Yes, that's something Mayhem mentioned also, and one of the first things I checked when I didn't see Paul's post. I wonder if our software is so outdated, and if we've reach out limit on data, that certain glitches are popping up more frequently now?

This happened again. Same thing as before. This time it's a post from Mayhem in the "Traitors of the Earth puzzle!" discussion: http://www.usagiyojimbo.com/forum3/view ... f=2&t=8670

It looks like it's at the page break, from page two to what should be page three. If you check Mayhem's ID and his posts, you'll see part of what he posted...
