Both are frustrating, and that makes the game more difficult (necessary for the "game" as it were), but from what I've been able to infer from puzzle enthusiasts a mass of complicated detail is seen as a more pleasing kind of frustration then blank color.maichan wrote:Ah, but what is it that makes a puzzle complex? What makes a puzzle challenging? Lot's of small detail? The Albedo cover uses large blocks of single color. While not complexe in detail, it might be just as challenging during assembly. Such a puzzling topic.Maka wrote:I think the Albedo #2 cover doesn’t work well because it isn’t complex enough.

Missing post fix: Angilasman Fri, June 21 2019 19:39 +0000
I assume this happens when someone deletes an entry.
Last time it happened it was something Steve Hubbell posted, and Maka made a follow up post that cleared it.
(I wanted to add a screen capture, but now I get this message "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." Have we reached our quota?)

Did you post something though? Here's the Screen cap that showed you were the last poster, but every time I checked the thread, the last post wasn't by you. The last post was by Kaimuki on Fri June 21, 2019 17:36 +0000 ... it's all very strange.Angilasman wrote:I didn't delete my post. Weird.

^ Yes, I posted something about puzzle enthusiasts disliking big blocks of solid color more than a mass of indiscernible tiny details.

Weird. I brought this incident up in the Dojo "Help" forum.Angilasman wrote:^ Yes, I posted something about puzzle enthusiasts disliking big blocks of solid color more than a mass of indiscernible tiny details.
Maybe it's time for new forum software?

Ok, this is getting weirder... Mayhem says he can still see your post. Can you see it, or is it gone for you too?Angilasman wrote:^ Yes, I posted something about puzzle enthusiasts disliking big blocks of solid color more than a mass of indiscernible tiny details.
Sorry to keep this thread going off track.

Re: Traitors of the Earth puzzle!
Amazon just cancelled my order for the puzzle saying it would not be available from them.
Hope this does not mean the project was cancelled.

The last I read was that Stan would have some available at SDCC. I don’t think they were canceled. Peace, makaCasey Burns wrote:Amazon just cancelled my order for the puzzle saying it would not be available from them.

Stan has them here at SDCC, as does the IDW booth. So it's not cancelled.

Re: Traitors of the Earth puzzle!
That's great news. I'll be sure to hit up the comic shops here on the 24th and see if I can find one.
