Thanks Gaffey. Arts-Rec sent me an email saying they shipped my order. Should arrive this week. Peace, makaGaffey wrote:I hope you ordered yours because the large shirts are now SOLD OUT.Maka wrote:I have to learn from you both! I also prefer non-white shirts, but I have an Usagi t-shirt addiction.
I tell myself, at least you mostly only spend money on Usagi stuff. The problem is the word “mostly” isn’t clearly defined.![]()

Did you order enough skate decks for everyone on the thread?Maka wrote:Thanks Gaffey. Arts-Rec sent me an email saying they shipped my order. Should arrive this week. Those skate decks looked cool. Had this been Usagi’s 5th anniversary rather than his 35th I would have been all over the offer.
Of course if it was 1989 I doubt I would have been able to scrounge up $65 plus shipping from my allowance/paper route

Imagine how cheap a copy of Albedo 2 was in 1989.
Anyway, I noticed the XL is now SOLD OUT. I suppose there were 50 of each size printed based on what was stated on the SDCC blog.

XL is now back in stock. I have no idea why I keep checking.

Re: Arts-Rec signing?
The shirt quality is nice; a soft, heavy cotton. I'm not too impressed with the image quality. I don't know if it's the screen printing process that's sub par, or if it was a graphic design choice, but the black fill is very uneven. On Usagi's pants, it looks like it's semi-faithfully recreating the marker strokes which usually get filled to pure black in post-editing, but even on the Arts-Rec logo on the front, as well as all the logos on the back, the black is lighter in some places and darker in others. Perhaps they were imitating the marker fill of the pants, but it looks like a printing error, even if it is intentional.

Beyond that, the line work is oddly reproduced, with the vertcaltal lines having a sort of "fuzzy" edge to them, seemingly made up of lots of little horizontal lines with gaps between them (and many of the horizontal lines having little vertical lines).
So really, I'm just trying to help those that passed on the shirt feel better about their choice.
