But in Ancient Japan it was handled by the lowest social caste. Know as the Burakumin, they were considered 'unclean' because they handled death.
So by Noriyuki denying the option of seppuku he condemned Horikawa to a fate worse than death.
Even today ppl who 'clean toilets' are marginalized by society. They are derided and mocked.
Those who clean toilets are usually the 'illegal immigrant', the ppl who do the jobs we don't want to do. The 'illegal immigrant' is the modern equivalent of the Burakumin IMO
But I digress...

I think with this latest chapter you will see that I am a hopeless romantic.
The love I portray is always over-wrought, bordering on melodramatic. But that has always been my way. I blame comics. Everything in that medium is like that.
Anyway...love has been declared and accepted.
What will that mean for the world you'll find out by reading the next chapter (or twenty!)
Sheesh...I don't know how to end a sentence early that's for sure.

Oh yeah...I'm aware in the image I put for my latest chapter has Gen in it, who isn't in the story. But the image is so cool and quite conducive to the story I couldn't resist using it.
