General discussion about Usagi Yojimbo, the comics, the stories, the characters, collectibles, TV appearances, Stan Sakai, Space Usagi, Nilson & Hermy, and all other related topics.
If you don't frequent the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo or Usagi Yojimbo! group on Facebook, you're missing lots of action. The UY! group is over 1.9K members strong, and the UY Dojo has over 13,900 likes!
The UY! group is really buzzing with member participation. People showing of what they got, sharing fan art, asking questions. Lot's of people are looking for books to complete their collections. I've even been able to help several of them score books from my local comic book store.
Over on the UY! group, someone was discussing the Saga books and the availability of the TPBs. Many people, including myself, expressed the fact that Dark Horse seems to be good at letting books go out of print without re-issuing them.
Lo-and-behold Daniel Fujii left a reply that gives us all some hope...
Hi All, we're actually discussing reprints right now with our DH team. Just pitched them an idea and if it goes through....the word "exciting" will look like an understatement!

I hope they don't reprint the Saga hardcovers. However I wouldn't mind if they reissued the series in the Library Edition format (Harrow County, Black Hammer, Lady Killer).
Yeah, I don't know what's planned, but I would think the Saga hardcovers were a one time deal with limited printing... But it would be nice to see the trade paperbacks get re-printed for what seems like all those people out there asking for it. It seems like a lot of people have been trying to find missing books, or want to know where to start but don't want to start buying books since it is so hard to find certain books.
The Saga TPBs are probably more cost effective, but I actually prefer the older TPBs for their size. It'll be interesting to see what happens. Will I buy them? I don't know. I already have the comics, all the smaller TPBs & HCs, and the SAGA HCs. I specifically didn't buy the SAGA TPBs just because of that.
