Usagi 2020 Holiday Ornament

Post by jabba359 »

Danny Segura messaged me to let me know that he came across an Usagi ornament on stansakai.com, a collaboration with Chris Schweizer. I hadn't seen or heard anything about this, so thought I should share here before the rest of the internet finds out. It's hand-crafted and limited to only 100 numbered pieces. Available both signed and unsigned. I personally went with unsigned, but plan to see if I can pay at some point in the future to get it signed and quick sketched with an Usagi wearing a Santa hat, though maybe it's not quite the right material for something like that.

Get yours now while they last!

Danny also sent me a message about it. Also bought an unsigned one, due mainly to budget restraints (need to save some money to buy a bunch of stamps). Guess I need to start visiting Stan's web-store more frequently if he is going to slip cool things like this out. I didn't see any mention of these on either Stan or Chris' Facebook pages.

Two of my favorite cartoonists. I’m so happy about this announcement. I ordered one signed because I don’t know when I will get a chance to see Stan again. Thanks did the link Kyle!!!

The speed at which they sold out was a complete surprise to us. Beth and our social media person set up the announcement. Beth saw that a few orders from the Dojo were coming in, then went to the post office. When she returned, they were all sold!

Yes, they are all gone. We just did a hundred thinking that we would have these for awhile. We did not even set any aside for our files or inventory. Next time we will order more. We plan on making these ornaments an annual thing--a new design every year.

A Usagi Christmas Tree!

Thank you, but we'll take Beth's. ;)
