Latest hauls (Books, Toys, Collectibles)

Post by Gaffey »

Nothing Usagi related this week, but I did manage to pick up a few good books.

Image

I saw someone posting their hauls on Discord so I figured I'd "borrow" that idea and start one here.

I do reread the color floppies when they come out. But sometimes I let the trades collections of those color reprints sit on the shelf. I'm buying too many comics to support my local comic book store. 1st world problems.

But this arrived in the mail today:
Image

Dan is having a Halfway to Halloween sale: $25 + $5 s/h (at least for California) for both books. In the Night Studio is an art book that is signed (original $35) and the Nocturnals: Black Planet is a TPB (originally $25). Grab it here if you are interested: http://www.bigwowart.com/GalleryPiece.a ... tistId=457

Gaffey, that is quick a hull you got this past month. I like you tastes in comics!

Peace, maka

Thanks! I mostly buy independent titles with the occasional Marvel or DC finding it's way into my cart.

Gaffey, wanna trade your Mustang HC for my TPB?

How far back you want me to go?

Here stuff from the most recent, then going back in time... from last week to the end of April.

Wow maichan you buy a lot of comics. I stopped buying comics years ago and went strictly collected editions. Except Usagi of course. I'll post a pic of my collection someday.

Sorry, I'm a hardcover snob. Whenever there's an option I always go for hardcovers. :)

Post whatever you want. I just started with last month. I don't have that much planned for this month. Maybe 5 or 6 collected editions.

Bottom center. It's good to see you again.

I keep telling myself to reduce the amount of comics I buy. But then I buy three copies of the same comic because I want the variant covers. This was to support Kyle, Chris, and the local comic book store. Before the pandemic, I was down to Usagi comics and books. The pandemic closed the store so they started offering to drive comics, games, and books to my house. I was worried they would go out of business, so I started buying more stuff since I had a job.

It seems like California might start not mandating masks at businesses come June 15. I want to cut down on my comic buying as continue to sell off my collection. We’ll see. 😂

Piece, maka
