I want an avatar, too (sniffle sniffle)

So, how does one go about talking to the board administrator, and how does one get an avatar, and all that stuff that annoys the experienced people here, but would be helpful to someone "new"?

Avatars are enabled for all users. Click on "Profile" from the menu above and scroll down to Avatar Control Panel. You can upload your own or choose from our cool gallery of Usagi avatars!

Okay, I tried it, and I clicked on the open the gallery, but it didn't open anything. Am I suppose to set something else in order to look at the gallery here? For example, when I go into profile, should I put in my password before trying the avatar?

There are no avatars in the gallery, you should either upload an avatar from your computer or from an URL.
